Frederik is the Founder and former Executive Director of The Sustainability Board (TSB). He has served as a trusted advisor to numerous board directors, chairs, C-suite executives, and their teams.
Frederik is a Director of Advisory and Head of Europe at AccountAbility. His expertise spans serving mid- and large-cap clients globally, where he works at the intersection of sustainability leadership, strategy, and governance.
Frederik also was the first ally member of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism and is a fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar as well as a member of Chapter Zero.
In addition to his advisory work, Frederik has spearheaded extensive research on board-level sustainability and ESG preparedness. His findings have been endorsed by leading business schools and corporate advisors, with citations from institutions such as Bain, IMD, Henley Business School, the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, and the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization. He has published six times in the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance and contributed to several other reputable publications.
Frederik holds a diploma in Business Administration from IHK in Germany and has completed several executive education programmes, including the Oxford Strategy Programme at Saïd Business School, the High Impact Leadership Programme at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership (CISL), and the MBA Highlights Programme (CORe) at Harvard Business School.
